Indy Way Diner in Longview

Had a fantastic chicken fried steak dinner. Was huge portions. I could not begin to eat it all. Waitresses were sweet and friendly. Very helpful and not a bit pushy. Wonderful experience. I will go back.

Absolutely the BEST place to eat in town!!! Food and prices ARE AMAZING! The quantity of the plates are humongous too if you're REALLY hungry with exceptional service THIS is definitely the place to go!!!

Service was excellent! I went on a Friday morning around 9am. Not too busy. I had the Chicken fried steak breakfast, Reasonable portion for the price. My eggs were cooked perfectly!

Food was good. You get a lot. Went on a Saturday morning. Didn't have to wait but is kind of small.

Big Menu! Had the Taco Salad for lunch & it was perfect. Kind of crowded at noon but worth the short wait.

We love the wiener wraps, way better than middle school...

Great prices on homecooked meals. I ordered liver and onions. My server was very sweet.

It was not bad for a truck stop diner the food i ordered was a New York steak which can either be very good or terrible depending on the place, so it was a 5-6 out of 10 and they were affordable and quite fast. Not a fancy place and the best steak i've ever had but definetly good and i have no complaints.

The salmon dinner was awesome! The waitress made you feel like part of the family. I was very much impressed...have been back twice!

Food is fantastic; I had the Long haul burger and it was top notch. Also the waitress was a badass. She was running the place on her own aside from the cooks. Overall good experience aside from the inappropriate music coming from the kitchen. #hungryforfoodnotjesus

The very best chicken fried steak I ever had! I will drive quite the distance regularly to get it again. Nobody makes it better. Busy place so you will wait. But worth the drive and the wait for sure! The best breakfast at a gas station. Who cares?! Nobody eating does. Worth it!

I'm sorry to say I cannot comment on the diner but I did stop for gasand grab a snack from the gas station part which has great food the woman who helped me I believe her name was Brittany was just amazing I was having a terrible day and she was able to bring a smile to my face with her kind words. If the rest of the people that work there are as kind and courteous as she was to someone who was being as rude as I was then the person doing the hiring must be a genius thank you Brittany if you see this you changed my day

Expensive but good home cooking

The food is fantastic, no doubt about that. The only problem we have here is how incredibly rude the wait staff can be. Especially if you order to-go; the staff doesn't treat you well at all. The only thing bringing us back, is the food. The diner has limited seating in the first place, so for the staff to be so rude to their loyal customers is uncalled for.

The service was slow and unfriendly, not many people in the restaurant eating at this time Two waitresses on duty, and I had to ask to get a menu after sitting for awhile. The only time the waitress was friendly is when she was handing me the bill. I thanked the chef for a good meal.

The convenience store and gas station are average, but with above average hot food. The diner is good, especially for the money. Good food and good prices on breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Super sweet diner. Good prices with good portions. Lovely place to have a breakfast/lunch date. Staff never ignored us. But didn't jump down our throats with bothering. 5/5 Stars 100%

For a small hole in the wall diner, this place is awesome! Friendly staff, good food, and a great atmosphere. I love the food there. Had halibut and a salad instead of chips....no problem! I will return again.

Food is great there, service is great as well but the English muffin is burnt......some what. I would of been fine with not muffin if it’s this burnt.

Birthday meal. I had the long haul burger & steak fries. Wife had pancakes and bacon. I asked for extra burger sauce and over medium egg on the burger and it was messy, just the way i like it. Wife liked her pancakes and bacon. It was our first time here. Hopefully it continues to be this good. By the reviews I think it will be.

They have really good food. A good selection of drinks, gas station food, chips,etc.

Wait staff has always been kind and delightful in my experience. Breakfast has been bad last half dozen or so times I've been in. Cold eggs, old greasy and dry hashbrowns, cold toast. Would've rated 5 stars a couple years ago. 3 stars for solid wait staff and quick service.

The food is always great here. Sometimes the waitresses seem frustrated and not happy but this is a very busy place.

Eggs cooked just the way I ordered them. Bacon extra crispy! Perfect and very professional server.
